Invisalign and ClearCorrect

Invisalign and ClearCorrect are similar in that they both utilize clear aligners made of plastic that fit snug and apply gentle pressure to move your teeth. You will wear your aligners for 22 hours each day, but you can remove them easily for eating, brushing and flossing. Both systems require that you change your aligners every two to three weeks; however, this can often be done at home, which means you don’t need to visit my dental office as often as you would require adjustments to traditional braces.

What Are the Advantages of Choosing Clear Aligners?

Clear aligner systems such as Invisalign and ClearCorrect offer numerous advantages for patients.

• They offer the ultimate discretion because clear aligners are virtually invisible.
• Since they can be removed, no changes to your diet are required so you can enjoy all the foods you love during your treatment.
• The aligners are comfortable to wear and don’t interfere with your normal activities or cause discomfort to your soft tissues as brackets and wires tend to.
• Maintaining your normal hygiene routine of consistent daily brushing and flossing is comfortable with removable aligners.

Treatment with Invisalign and ClearCorrect is also comparable in price to traditional orthodontic treatment. Patients who have dental insurance that includes an orthodontic benefit can use them for Invisalign or ClearCorrect.

Six-Month Smiles

Did you endure orthodontic treatment as an adolescent only to lose your retainers? Or perhaps you were not told to wear retainers for a lifetime, and your teeth have relapsed?

Six-Month Smiles may be the ideal solution for your needs since it focuses treatment on your front six teeth or the sight line of your smile that people can see. I’ll apply clear brackets and wires designed to move your teeth efficiently like your braces in the past did; however, the difference is that this time your brackets and wires are hardly noticeable since they are clear.

Because this treatment focuses primarily on your sight line, we can typically complete it in about six months so that you won’t be wearing brackets and wires for very long. It also tends to be less expensive than Invisalign or ClearCorrect thanks to the shorter treatment time.
